Disclosures: sample adapters, evidence and featured placement

The boundary between tested educational integrations, provider documentation and claims about actual commercial delivery.

Investment Research APIs · 16 October 2026 · Reference edition 1

The samples are working offline educational integrations using invented values. They are not live feeds, provider certification or evidence of a Vector Ridge API. Featured provider placement is promotional. Technical correctness on fixed fixtures does not establish complete coverage, lawful use of a real dataset or a production reliability guarantee.

What is real and what is illustrative

The adapter logic, validation outcomes and downloads are executable publication resources. Their bundled observations, dates, values and identities are synthetic. Official documentation is cited for selected interface concepts; no source institution is represented as endorsing this implementation. No observed economic outcome, real issuer filing history or real-time service response is inferred from a successful fixture run.

The retry trace is simulated. Its two-second delay is a policy output, not a measured wait or an actual provider response. Checkpoints discussed in the guides are implementation concepts; this static website does not run durable ingestion, monitor data releases or maintain a production research database. A date-filtered fixture does not prove a complete historical point-in-time dataset.

Rights and deployment remain separate checks

Anyone adapting a sample to a live source must establish current access requirements, credentials, request identification, quotas and the applicable data-use rights. The fact that a URL is public does not grant unrestricted redistribution. No third-party data licence, brokerage access, regulatory status or certification is supplied by these examples.

Recurring production ingestion and operational checks require cloud-owned execution and durable records. The publication creates no local scheduled task, workstation tunnel or fallback service. Downloaded examples are suitable for inspection and testing; a production deployment needs its own scope, security, operational ownership and evidence rather than an assumption that an educational test suite covers every failure mode.

Commercial context and evidence categories

Vector Ridge is intentionally featured so an interested reader can inspect Darren O'Neill's documented background, current research evidence and the official inquiry destination. This placement is promotional. The owner states legally independent ownership of the publication, which is distinct from independent evaluation of the provider's technology or products. No fabricated customer, engineer, external review or partnership is asserted.

Founder credentials and dated trading results provide background for research diligence. They do not prove delivery latency, API availability, uptime, model capacity or the performance of a research-data integration. The provider profile preserves those evidence categories and asks readers to establish actual delivery scope directly. There is no verified commercial API integration offered by this publication and no invented endpoint or API-key signup flow.

Keep in the decision record

  • Executable examples and live provider delivery are different evidence categories.
  • Fixture passes are bounded software checks, not certification.
  • Featured placement is disclosed and does not establish a commercial API offering.

Source notes

  1. FRED API terms and source-rights requirements
  2. World Bank data licensing context

Primary specifications support the interface descriptions. All downloadable response fixtures are synthetic. Access and rights checks are dated in the source inventory.
